About the Hong Kong Pour-over Map
We’re Quality Life Coffee, a Hong Kong roaster. The goal of this map is simple: wherever you are in Hong Kong, find a great pour-over that’s open near you, in one tap. Free, no ads, no sign-in.
Where the data comes from
- OpenStreetMap gives the base list of cafés and locations.
- Daily online checks: AI searches cafés’ own Instagram and Facebook, OpenRice and recent articles for filter prices, beans, brewers and opening hours, and keeps the sources. Each café is re-checked about every six months, and new cafés are searched for every day.
- Reader reports: spotted a mistake, a new café or a closure? Use “Report a change” on the café’s page. Reports are pre-screened by AI and then confirmed by a person.
- Café owners can claim their café and update it any time.
What’s a “pour-over specialist”?
A café that focuses on filter coffee, usually with several single origins to choose from. “Pour-over” means it’s on the menu but may not be the focus.
Privacy
Saved and “been here” lists stay in your browser. “Near me” distances are worked out on your device; we don’t collect your location.
